An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Night Porter to oversee hotel operations during nighttime hours. This hands-on role involves managing guest expectations, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a smooth operation of the Food & Beverage Department. Ideal candidates will possess strong organisational and communication skills, with previous experience in a similar role being advantageous. The Night Porter is instrumental in overseeing the running of the hotel from sundown to sunrise. This is a hands-on role managing guest expectations and ensuring the standards of the brand are maintained.
As guests sleep soundly, the Night team keeps everything running smoothly. Your role as Night Porter will involve managing the Food & Beverage Department during the night, welcoming guests in a friendly manner, maintaining the cleanliness of public areas, and preparing meeting and event spaces for the next day.
You will assist guests with luggage, handle inquiries, and carry out nightly Health and Safety audits. Organisation and excellent communication skills are essential.
Experience in a similar role is beneficial, and night shift experience is essential.
We operate 7 days a week, 365 days a year, offering flexible shift patterns and hours, which can be discussed at interview. Our busiest times are evenings and weekends.
We offer career training through nationally recognized apprenticeships alongside detailed brand training, helping you excel in providing exceptional guest experiences.
Successful candidates can progress to Night Supervisory or Assistant Night Management roles.
