Full Job Description

We are looking for a keen and proactive AV Lead Engineer to help work on our most exciting and innovative new product. We’re the UK market leader in our field, with a tremendously professional delivery team. We’ll need your professional engineering and commissioning experience.

Salary: Up to £45,000 + Company Benefits

Responsibilities
  1. Design and install audio-visual systems tailored to client specifications.
  2. Troubleshoot and repair audio-visual equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
  3. Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  4. Configure and maintain networked AV systems, including VoIP and CCTV setups.
  5. Conduct regular equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
  6. Provide technical support during events, ensuring seamless operation of all AV components.
  7. Document system configurations, maintenance procedures, and project progress.
Qualifications

3+ years of senior installation engineer / final commissioning engineer experience in complex, integrated Audio Visual environments.

Required Skills
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of core technologies, and be highly confident in installing, commissioning, and demonstrating them.
  • Be proactive and enthusiastic about learning new technologies, including bespoke systems and industry innovations.
  • Provide feedback to R&D teams to ensure product solutions align with customer requirements.
  • Lead the delivery of complex projects on time and within budget across the UK.
  • Collaborate with third-party trades and support the Project Management team with site feedback.
  • Work with the engineering team to stay updated with BAU solutions and developments.
  • Coordinate with desktop developers, testers, delivery managers, customer support, and colleagues to relay improvements or challenges.
  • Ensure hardware, resources, and back-end systems are in place for timely delivery.
  • Support Venue Techs with customer training and occasional hands-on operation.
  • Write RAMS and ensure site activities are safe, maintaining high standards.
  • Work hands-on with a small, fast-moving team.
