Job Description:

We are looking for a keen and proactive AV Lead Engineer to help work on our most exciting and innovative new product. We’re the UK market leader at what we do, with a tremendously professional delivery team. We’ll need all your professional engineering and commissioning experience.

Salary: Up to £45,000 + Company Benefits

Responsibilities:

• Design and install audio-visual systems tailored to client specifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair audio-visual equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Configure and maintain networked AV systems, including VoIP and CCTV setups.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Provide technical support during events, ensuring seamless operation of all AV components.
• Document system configurations, maintenance procedures, and project progress.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of senior installation engineer / final commissioning engineer in complex, integrated Audio Visual environments

Required Skills:

• Maintain a thorough understanding of core technologies, and be highly confident in installing, commissioning, and demonstrating them.
• Be proactive and enthusiastic about learning new technologies, including bespoke systems and industry innovations.
• Provide feedback to R&D team to align product solutions with customer requirements.
• Lead the delivery of complex projects on time and within budget across the UK.
• Collaborate with third-party trades and support project management with site feedback.
• Work with the engineering team to stay updated on BAU solutions and developments.
• Coordinate with desktop developers, testers, delivery managers, support, and customer relations teams for feedback and improvements.
• Ensure hardware, resources, and back-end systems are prepared for timely delivery.
• Support Venue Techs with customer training and hands-on operation as needed.
• Write RAMS and uphold safety standards on site.
• Participate actively in a small, fast-moving team.
