Job Title: Associate Electronics PCB Design Engineer Ref. 956

Department: Engineering

Salary: £36,330 - £39,055

Job Overview

This role is available full-time for 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, or part-time with a minimum of 28 hours per week. Flexible or compressed working hours are available. The position is office-based.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and test electronic circuits and printed circuit boards.
  • Work within a product development team on hardware products and security solutions.
  • Create and maintain electronic hardware for custom security products.
  • Modify existing designs and collaborate on new product development.
  • Participate in training and research activities, utilizing a training budget for external courses.
Candidate Requirements
Essential Experience and Qualifications
  • Experience in designing and testing analogue, digital, and microcontroller-based systems.
  • Understanding of product and system design and development.
  • Relevant work experience or qualifications, such as an HND in electrical/electronic engineering.
Desirable Skills
  • Qualifications in electrical/electronic or mechanical engineering (equivalent to a 2:2 degree or higher).
  • Experience with electronic schematic capture and PCB design.
  • Knowledge of RF design, EMC, and signal integrity.
  • Understanding of PCB manufacturing processes.

  • Keen to learn and improve skills.
  • Enthusiastic about collaborating with engineers.
  • Driven to complete projects to a high standard.
