Supply Planning Team Leader

The Supply Planning team is seeking a leader to join this dynamic and forward-thinking group dedicated to delivering impactful results, one plan at a time.

Role Overview: In this role, you will develop, optimize, and maintain the supply master plans for all manufacturing processes and raw material supply to external manufacturers, alongside managing inbound supply of raw materials and packaging to support the Hillhouse production plant.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Manage and be accountable for all planning rules (master data) such as ordering rules, planning rules, inventory levels, and safety stock levels; respond to ERP system actions and exception messages to synchronize the end-to-end external supply chain and internal supply of raw materials and packaging.
2. Drive system optimization and continuous improvement, ensuring effective use of MRP to maintain supply plan validity and enable world-class customer service levels.
3. Develop and maintain a raw material sourcing model (make versus buy), working closely with procurement.
4. Monitor and develop reports (KPIs) with recommendations for changes in planning execution to drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.
5. Challenge manufacturing and procurement on order quantities and lead time rules to optimize inventory management through process improvements.
6. Monitor stock levels for slow-moving and obsolete products, and drive actions to resolve or reduce issues.
7. Collaborate closely with manufacturing, procurement, and planning teams to ensure synchronized actions and alignment of the master plan to meet business objectives.
