Maintenance Manager Position

The Maintenance Manager role is based on days, Monday to Friday, in the Wigan area of Manchester. It offers an excellent opportunity to progress within a market-leading manufacturing company. Duties of Maintenance Manager:

• Develop maintenance plans and systems, driving PPMs
• Lead improvement projects within the maintenance team
• Manage and develop a small team of engineers
• Oversee subcontractor management and safety compliance
• Identify and resolve recurring plant issues through engineering improvements
• Maintain a hands-on/hands-off approach as needed

Experience and Qualifications Required:

• Engineering qualification such as City & Guilds, ONC, NVQ 3, or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Experience managing large CAPEX and investment budgets
• Previous roles such as Maintenance Team Leader, Maintenance Manager, Supervisor, Engineer, or Planner
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• IOSH or NEBOSH training
• Experience with PPM and TPM activities
