Job summary

A leading company in network solutions is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, analyze, and implement network systems. This role involves troubleshooting incidents, managing service queues, and supporting migrations from Checkpoint to Palo Alto. Ideal candidates will have extensive knowledge of Cisco, Palo Alto, and network security services.

Job description

Designing, analyzing, evaluating, configuring, troubleshooting, and implementing network solutions. Senior network engineers have extensive knowledge of routing, switching, F5 load balancer, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, ISE, and Network security services.

Your responsibilities :

• Responsible for independently troubleshooting and resolving all product and infrastructure service incidents.
• Managing voice management queues in ServiceNow and ensuring SLAs are met.
• Undertake technical tasks such as patching, maintaining scripts, automated code, reviewing logs, assisting with build and configuration activities, and maintaining the technical estate.
• Effectively prioritise tasks to ensure high-priority activities are completed first.
• Support senior engineers with service and hardware lifecycle and asset management.
• Advance network implementation and migration experience from Checkpoint to Palo Alto.
• Support change and implementation where appropriate technical competence has been reached, maintaining an enterprise view.
