Job description

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Clinical Lead Nurse to work in an exceptional care home based in Herefordshire. You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers.

The home provides residents with the highest standards of care, comfort, and support within a safe and homely environment. The friendly and experienced staff ensure the social, physical, and emotional needs of residents are met through a person-centred approach to nursing care.

To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered General Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Promote, monitor, and implement standards for resident care within the unit environment, evaluating through clinical governance and audit.
  2. Provide clinical leadership, positive role modelling to the unit team, and ensure effective communication across the multidisciplinary team through supervision, mentoring, and appraisal. Lead on formal care reviews with the commissioning Trust.
  3. Ensure all care records, risk assessments, audits, and other outcome measures are integral to patient care, monitored, and regularly updated.
  4. Ensure nursing staff provide care plans written with the resident, and document the resident's progression within care notes.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful Clinical Lead will receive an excellent salary of GBP21.25 per hour, totaling GBP42,542.50 annually. This is a permanent full-time role working 38.5 hours per week. Benefits include:
