An established charity dedicated to providing excellent care is seeking a Clinical Lead to enhance the quality of life for older people. Permanent – Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
Friends of the Elderly (FotE) is a not-for-profit charity dedicated to providing excellent care with a family feel. We have been supporting older people for over 100 years, providing care home and day care services for older people, as well as grants for those in financial difficulty.
With a person-focused approach to care, Davenham, Bradbury Court, and Perrins House are picturesque homes situated in beautiful grounds in Malvern. Specialising in care for people with dementia, as well as residential and nursing care, we have a dedicated, well-trained, and compassionate team that cares for our residents.
In this all-encompassing role, you will support the General Manager in providing leadership to the care and support staff and nurses to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. Keeping the residents at the heart of our care delivery, you will take the lead on supporting and facilitating their nursing and medical needs, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and accepted best practices.
As our Clinical Lead, you will:
We’d like you to be registered with a relevant body (e.g., NMC) and have proven experience working within a similar role. With a strong understanding of CQC regulations and adult safeguarding, you will possess great communication and leadership skills, and be comfortable communicating with external health professionals.
Experienced in working with residents, particularly those with additional support needs, you will be knowledgeable in incident analysis and the completion of root cause analysis reports, and will be responsible for the subsequent action plan.
