Job description

A well-established and reputable business based in Hull is currently looking to recruit an experienced Audit Manager to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. On offer is a competitive salary of up to £60,000, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.

As an Audit Manager, you will be:

• Leading and overseeing a portfolio of audit assignments across a diverse client base
• Managing and mentoring a team of audit professionals to ensure high-quality delivery
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong working relationships
• Reviewing audit files and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and adding value to client operations
• Supporting senior leadership with strategic initiatives and business development
• Ensuring deadlines and budgets are met across all audit engagements

To be successful in this Audit Manager role, you will ideally have:

• ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience in audit
• Proven leadership and staff management skills within a practice environment
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles
• Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently
