Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure project delivery aligns with PCE's strategy, leading and mentoring the project team to deliver safely, on time, and to high standards.
- Communicate project objectives clearly to the PCE team and establish effective communication channels for monitoring and reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders.
- Set goals and principles for the project team to ensure safe and successful delivery, supporting individual development.
- Support and liaise with other project managers as needed.
- Lead project reviews and meetings across all phases: Design, Construction, and Commercial.
- Develop and implement the overall project strategy in collaboration with the Project Director.
- Report project status, issues, and performance to the Project Director and PCE Board regularly.
- Monitor project progress, establish milestones, and manage performance, productivity, and quality standards.
- Ensure all reporting protocols and training are maintained and up-to-date.
- Assist with commercial management, including cash flows, payment milestones, and contractual terms, in collaboration with the QS and Commercial Director.
- Manage project activities affecting the commercial position, including variations and change control.
- Oversee procurement processes alongside the Project and Commercial Directors.
- Set and uphold high standards for quality, including specifications and standards adherence.
- Ensure PCE standards and values are maintained on-site and in the project office.
- Identify opportunities to deliver optimal solutions aligned with project objectives.
- Manage health and safety protocols, including CDM coordination.
