Part-Time Facilities and Operations Manager Wanted

We are a small, friendly school in Oxford seeking aPart-Time Facilities and Operations Managerto oversee the smooth running of our site and ensure a safe, well-maintained environment for staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Property and Maintenance Management:Supervise all aspects of property management and maintenance, including scheduling and overseeing repairs, ensuring buildings and facilities are safe, compliant, and fit for purpose
• Staff Management:Manage cleaning and maintenance staff, providing leadership, training, and support as needed
• Compliance and Safety:Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations, including fire safety, health and safety, and ensure regular testing of fire alarms and other safety equipment
• General Repairs:Carry out or arrange minor repairs and maintenance as required
• Minibus Care:Oversee the general care and maintenance of school minibuses.
• Driving Licence:A valid driving licence is essential for this role.

Experience Required:

• Property Management:Proven experience in managing a property and coordinating maintenance activities.
• Staff Management:Experience in leading and managing staff, ideally in a facilities or operations environment357.
• Compliance Knowledge:Understanding of health and safety, fire safety, and other relevant regulations17.
• Practical Skills:Ability to undertake or arrange general repairs and maintenance tasks.
