Job description

Due to the continuing development of the Role and the service requirements, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an additional Specialist Nurse for Adult Support and Protection to work alongside the current Adult Support and Protection Specialist Nurse within Aberdeenshire HSCP.

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated registered nurse with a genuine interest in Adult Support and Protection, as well as all areas of Public Protection.

The post covers the Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership Area. The successful applicant will help enhance the capacity to deliver the required services moving forward. The role involves supporting the work of the NHSG Public Protection Team and AHSCP Adult Protection Network, primarily over a Monday-Friday schedule.

Additionally, the post holder will play a pivotal role in raising the profile and leading the ASP agenda in Health Services across Aberdeenshire, as well as supporting and developing Multi-Agency working.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
  1. Registered Nurse or Midwife with a first-level degree or relevant qualifications.
  2. Five years post-qualifying experience.
  3. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
