Job description

We are seeking a full-time BIM/CAD Specialist within the Building Engineering Division. This role is to be held at one of AECOM's UK offices (London, Edinburgh, or Manchester).

As part of AECOM’s Specialisms Operating unit, the BMS team will form part of the Technology engineering group and will provide BMS design and support services to support the Mechanical and Electrical teams.

The role involves designing BMS systems across various sectors including office fit-out, mixed-use, industrial, and government, public sector, and commercial organizations.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Experience with complex CADD assignments and coordinating CADD drawing production.
• Proficiency in advanced applications, scaling, and editing using CADD software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Ability to digitize or trace sketches from designers using CADD software.
• Good understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC level related engineering qualification or Degree in building services engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science.
• Knowledge of BMS systems (e.g., Trend, Tridium, Niagara) gained through industry experience.
• Chartership or working towards it.
