We are seeking a qualified and experienced Financial Accountant/Analyst to join the IET Finance team to support our growing financial accounting, reporting, and projects.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

1. Assist with monthly close activities, including intercompany records, posting journals, and balance sheet reconciliation.
2. Produce monthly management reports for consolidation into INEOS Energy and INEOS Group reports. Conduct financial analysis with the trading team to understand and report financial performance to management.
3. Support relationships with external auditors.
4. Prepare regulatory or INEOS Group financial submissions.
5. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, review inputs with trading and commercial teams, and submit templates to INEOS Energy and INEOS Group.
6. Support the business controller with cash management and treasury activities.
7. Provide financial analysis and support to commercial and trading functions around liquidity forecasting, sensitivities, and develop models to automate analyses.
8. Provide ad hoc support to IET projects, especially regarding new business streams and their accounting impacts.
9. Assess the accounting impact of new business streams to ensure compliance with relevant standards.

Skills & Knowledge

Education & Experience

• Business Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)
• Experience in trading/commodity industry preferred
• Ability to develop and use modeling tools to present outcomes clearly and concisely
