One of the UK's largest independent Consultancies is actively recruiting a Senior Procurement Manager to be based in Portsmouth.

THE COMPANY

My client is one of the leading Consultancies in the UK with a network of offices across the country as well as overseas. They have a great reputation in the market and are working on some of the South East's largest infrastructure and defence projects.

THE POSITION

The company is looking to recruit several Senior Procurement Managers to take full responsibility for projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead projects and mentor junior staff.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal Senior Procurement Manager must:

1. Have at least 5+ years of experience working within a Commercial/Procurement environment.
2. Have experience working within Defence, Aerospace, or the Public Sector.
3. Have experience managing end-to-end procurement, including Sourcing and Contract Management.
4. Possess good communication and client-facing skills.
5. MCIPS qualification is preferred but not essential.
6. Ideally have Security Clearance or have held it previously.
