Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant

In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. As a Housekeeping Assistant, your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Your attention to detail will be essential. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, your work will reflect kindness and care.

We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although full training will be provided. Excellent time management and organizational skills are required. A positive attitude, good energy, and the ability to communicate effectively and kindly with residents and colleagues are essential qualities.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. All colleagues will attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should also be able to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
