Description Overview

This position is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

In this role, you will support quality, system, and process standards to ensure reliability and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements such as EU GDP Directive 2013/C 343/EU, Human Medicines Regulation 2012, and EU 2001/83/EU. You will support the Galpharm and Omega Pharma business entities and coordinate elements of the Quality Management System, including Deviations, Change Control, CAPAs, and document control for Perrigo Barnsley QA, ensuring all formal documents are evaluated, maintained, and distributed appropriately and promptly.

Scope of the Role

1. Coordinate site quality systems including Deviation Management and CAPA.
2. Support deviation investigations, working with departments to ensure proper linkage and escalation.
3. Assist in the CAPA process, ensuring integration with deviations and audits.
4. Prepare and support changes for the Change Management System for monthly review, collaborating with departments.
5. Participate in self-inspections to ensure compliance with the internal audit schedule.
6. Act as the point of contact for quality-related queries within the business.
7. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives aligned with site objectives.
8. Take on additional tasks as directed by the Departmental Manager.

Experience Required

• At least 2 years’ experience in a GMP/GDP Quality Assurance role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical GMP, regulatory documentation, and experience authoring, reviewing, and issuing controlled documents.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry operations and core QA systems.
• Ability to maintain high-quality documentation, manage data, and interpret KPIs.
• Independent work capability with appropriate escalation when needed.
• Experience with root cause analysis, deviations, and CAPA formulation.
• Proficiency with business applications such as Microsoft Office, Trackwise, SAP, and SharePoint.
