Job Description:

We have recently partnered with a leading global investment firm seeking to recruit an experienced candidate into the Distribution team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for developing the Institutional market in the Nordics region.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the business development efforts for the Nordics region, overseeing strategy and execution.
  • Cultivate new relationships and strengthen existing connections with relevant prospective clients.
  • Drive sales initiatives in the region, including direct prospecting, attending conferences, participating in roadshows, and managing campaigns.
  • Effectively manage and progress sales pipelines by qualifying, advancing, and closing opportunities with a disciplined approach.
  • Contribute to product and proposition development by identifying long-term trends and potential product gaps, sharing insights with investment teams.

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong demonstrable knowledge of the Nordics Institutional market, including acute sensitivities of key dynamics, growth opportunities, and macro-trends.
  • Proven track record in a sales-focused role in asset management [minimum 6 years' experience.]
  • In-depth knowledge of Fixed Income products highly desirable.
  • A collaborative mindset, capable of working with a diverse range of colleagues across the business to generate and develop innovative ideas, with a strong drive to succeed in a competitive environment.
