Job Description:

A niche Investment Management firm is hiring an experienced Investment Implementation Programme Manager to join their business on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. The role will work closely with the COO and key departments across the business. The position requires a minimum of 2 days a week in the Sheffield office.

Main Responsibilities

• Act as a key link between Investment strategy and its implementation, owning the end-to-end implementation delivery.
• Provide business-wide executional certainty over investment implementation programmes by acting as the sole Project Manager and ensuring proper methodology.
• Maintain a master programme management plan, tracking progress against key deliverables and timeframes.
• Act as the direct Project Manager for specific work packages requiring complex planning and execution.
• Run engagement calls across the programme, including Steering Committees and Working Groups.
• Liaise with stakeholders and work package owners to drive delivery.
• Escalate programme blockers and manage actions to unblock issues, involving senior management when necessary.
• Collaborate with the Investment Operations team to provide an overall programme view for stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

• Strong action orientation with proven delivery of similar programmes.
• Experience in Pensions, Asset Management, or Insurance is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in managing business-wide implementation/transformation programmes.
• Basic knowledge of pensions, investment industry, markets, and assets.
• Proven project management experience of similar scope.
• Strong analytical skills and high proficiency in Excel.
• Strong financial acumen and comfort with financial data.
