We are seeking an experienced Linux Infrastructure Engineer who can think creatively to overcome technical challenges.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer with extensive experience managing Linux-based infrastructures. This role involves maintaining and decommissioning key IT platforms using Cisco FlexPod CVD patterns, working on a 10-week task cycle aligned with Programme Increment planning.

• Linux Infrastructure Management: Maintain, monitor, and manage Linux servers (Redhat, Debian, containers), ensure high availability, implement security, and perform updates.
• Cisco FlexPod CVD Management: Sustain and decommission IT platforms, perform maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, and collaborate with network and storage teams.
• Container Management and Orchestration: Manage Kubernetes, K3S, EKS, AKS, GKE platforms; implement and monitor container solutions; ensure integration with existing infrastructure.
• Network Management: Manage F5 load balancers; troubleshoot network issues; collaborate with network teams.
• Apache NiFi Management: Manage and maintain data flow systems, ensure performance and security, and implement best practices.

Required qualifications:

• Experience managing Linux server infrastructure (Redhat, Debian, containers).
• Strong understanding of container orchestration platforms (K8S, K3S, EKS, AKS, GKE).
• Experience with network management, particularly F5 load balancers.
• Familiarity with Apache NiFi and data flow management.
• Strong understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.

You must hold active HMG HLC Clearance and be solely a UK National.
