As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will:
Join our Oncology department as an experienced Oncology Nurse. Your responsibilities include delivering quality nursing care in line with hospital standards, government, and N.I.C.E guidelines for patients requiring cytotoxic chemotherapy. This involves assessing patient needs, implementing care, and evaluating clinical outcomes.
You will ensure patients and their families receive appropriate information, advice, and support regarding cytotoxic chemotherapy.
Our environment allows you to prioritize patient care, supported by modern facilities and a favorable nurse-patient ratio to maintain high standards.
As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will have:
Ideally, you will have completed the UKONS passport or hold a qualification in the safe administration of chemotherapy. We are also willing to support trainees in this area.
Strong cannulation and venepuncture skills are required, along with the ability to access CVADs.
