Qualifications

Job Title: Pastoral Manager

Location: The Holden School, Leigh WN7 4SB

Salary: Up to GBP30,000.00 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday,

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Practitioner to lead the inclusion, behaviour, safeguarding, and attendance strategies within our school.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in the development of inclusive practices, analysing and supporting pupil behaviour, safeguarding vulnerable students, and promoting positive attendance across the school.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To lead on effective safeguarding and pupil welfare strategies and plans to ensure the safety and emotional wellbeing of our students
  2. To provide detailed and effective advice on Positive Behaviour Profiles and Behaviour Support
  3. To provide advice and guidance with regards to existing profiles and plans, to ensure that they are effective and up to date
Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes/qualifications:

  1. Experience in special educational needs, emotional, behavioural and social difficulties
  2. Experience of driving and advising on best practice in relation to positive behaviour support (STRIIDE Trained)
  3. Good knowledge of training practices and applications
  4. Commitment to the values of the organisation

The Holden School is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged from 5 to 16, catering for pupils with a wide range of needs in Lancashire, Manchester and surrounding areas.
