Account Director (French-native) - Social Agency

Based in London with a hybrid working structure.

Salary: £49-57k, including a generous quarterly commission structure and annual company bonuses.

The Agency

We are working with a UK social media agency that collaborates with some of the biggest brands globally, specializing in social strategy, community management, client services, influencer marketing, and content creation.

The Role

• Lead account teams to deliver work aligned with the broader social strategy, structuring teams for success and ensuring high standards across all outputs.
• Act as the primary client contact, fostering collaborative and trusted relationships, and clearly communicating your team's value.
• Organize and lead meetings, reviews, and project touchpoints; identify and resolve delivery issues; and work on continuous workflow improvements.
• Oversee social-first campaigns in the French market, managing a small local team in Paris, ensuring top-quality work through clear briefs and quality assurance.
• Support relationship-building and project success through regular in-person visits to Paris (approximately monthly), engaging with clients and local partners.
• Ensure accurate delivery of scopes and timelines, monitor team capacity, and lead monthly reports on commercial performance and delivery efficiency.

About You

• A native French speaker based in London, fluent in English, comfortable in bilingual environments.
• Over 4 years of experience in client services within an agency setting.
• Passionate about enhancing client experience and building strong, long-lasting relationships.
• Ownership-driven with expertise in social-first delivery, including strategy, creative, media, and account management.
• Proficient in project management and client service best practices, with experience mentoring others.
• Successful in retaining, nurturing, and growing client accounts.
