What you'll be doing;
  • To carry out the acceptance process of waste into site including non conformance reporting, load integrity and compliance with legislation including packaging requirements.
  • Monitor the solvent recovery process, including planning, distillation menus and sale of product
  • To carry out processing activities such as compatibility testing, production of drum bulking blends, neutralisation of weak acid/alkali materials, repackaging of inputs according to necessary disposal/recovery options and maintaining site segregation programme.
  • To ensure outgoing loads for the disposal/recovery meet customer requirements including labelling and packaging according to ADR/CDG regulations.
  • To maintain laboratory records and complete calibration of all equipment. Order laboratory reagents and maintain the laboratory in line with good laboratory practice.
What we're looking for;
  • Chemistry Degree or equivalent
  • Waste experience but in house training will be provided
