Field Service Engineer

Cheshire Area

£37.5k to £38.5k (DOE) – 40 hour work week

+Overtime 1.5x (Regular but not guaranteed), 25 Days Holiday (Excluding Bank), Death in Service x4, Salary Sacrifice Pension, Work Van and Mobile Phone, Plus Support and Training for Development

We are now excited to welcome a new field service engineer to the family due to expansion. This is a great opportunity to work for a global leader and have the tools to grow and develop your skills.

This role will entail maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting small MHE to larger ones. This role focuses on FLTs to small plant equipment, so the ideal person will come from a MHE, agricultural, or plant background. You will need to be multiskilled with no bias due to working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronic systems. You will be sent out to various customer sites, so you will need strong customer service skills as you will be the face of the company.

Skills:

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Read Electrical and Hydraulic Schematics
• Technical expertise with a proven background in the industry
• Ability to deliver strong service with clear communication and detailed reporting
• Cross-channel communication with liaising with the service controller desk
• Safety awareness, adhering to protocols and creating safe environments
• Self-starter who loves to take on new challenges and continuously improve their skills
• Team player; some days you will work with other members of the team
• Background in MHE, Agricultural, or Plant is desired
• Live within an hour away from the patch
• Full clean driver's license
