Production Supervisor

Hours of Work:

39 hours per week

What you will do

You will play a pivotal role within the Machine Shop Team, helping to create equipment that improves the lives of people around the world.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Understand technical plans and be capable of working out measurements.
  • Process and prepare raw steel for production on your assigned machine.
  • Meet production targets while maximising efficiency.
  • Ensure the safe and controlled movement of production parts, manually, via crane, or lifting equipment.
  • Ensure Health & Safety is adhered to at all times, demonstrating our commitment to Zero Harm.
  • Work as part of a team to develop continuous improvement.
  • Operate a forklift or combi lift truck, pending training.
What you will bring
  • Previous experience with hand plasma, CNC machinery, and stud welding.
  • Use of CNC plasma is desirable.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Proven organisational skills with the ability to plan, organise, and control daily workload.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Ability to work under pressure and be dependable and reliable.
  • Work independently with initiative.
