The Social Care Department is actively seeking Children Learning Disability Support Workers to work within an award-winning service located in and around Preston.
The service is a bespoke specialist service for people aged 6-19 and upwards with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs. You will assist residents through a care pathway to help them live as independently as possible.
All the houses offer a large comfortable lounge, separate dining room, kitchen, quiet room, conservatory, meeting area, and activities room.
What you'll be doing as a Children's Learning Disability Support Worker
You will provide therapeutic care and support to patients with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs, including observing, monitoring, and recording patient conditions. You will treat each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty, helping them progress through a care pathway to live as independently as possible. You will work with a team of multi-professionals supporting you.
