Location – We are seeking a candidate based in the Midlands who is willing to travel throughout the UK

About the Role

As a Project Engineer, you will deliver well-engineered project work in full compliance while ensuring customer satisfaction. You will manage the development of concepts, design solutions, and all engineering activities from design to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects with a focus on excellence and maintaining QHSE standards
• Allocate resources to ensure efficient project delivery
• Manage profit and gross margins to ensure success and sustainability
• Create detailed site surveys and comprehensive documentation
• Provide accurate cost estimates and quotations aligned with client needs
• Prioritize health and safety through method statements and risk assessments
• Procure top-quality equipment and materials
• Ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery exceeding customer expectations
• Plan project schedules and oversee commissioning for seamless operations
• Manage contracts meticulously to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction

About You

We are interested in candidates with:

• Experience as a project or contracts engineer
• Experience in the EV industry, such as Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment (AC up to 44kW, DC up to 350kW), is advantageous
• Experience in the electrical contracting industry, especially in industrial and heavy commercial sectors
• JIB/ECS Gold or Black card
• Ability to conduct surveys, price projects, and issue quotes
• Proficiency in managing projects from start to finish, including labor and materials
• Ability to design and specify project details
• Flexibility and independence in work
• Effective teamwork skills
