Pay Rate: £56.74 per hour (assignment rate)

Main Duties of the SLT:

• Providing intervention, group work, and advice to students and tutors (class size 8-10).
• Assessing, diagnosing, and intervening in caseloads of students in various settings, under supervision.
• Developing skills in speech and language therapy, with reflection on clinical practice.
• Serving students from diverse ethnic and linguistic backgrounds.
• Raising awareness of the role of speech and language therapists among staff, visitors, students, and carers.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration.
• Recent UK/NHS post-qualifying experience as a Speech and Language Therapist.
• Availability for 2 days a week, preferably Tuesdays and Thursdays or similar weekdays, with Tuesday as the main day.
