A leading care home organization is seeking a permanent Regional Employee Relations Specialist to cover the South of England. This home-based role involves providing expert advice on employee relations matters, supporting managers with complex cases, and ensuring compliance with employment law. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing employee relations cases, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of HR practices.
I am working exclusively with a group of private care homes to recruit for a permanent Regional Employee Relations Specialist – South of England
Role – permanent
This role is home based and covering the South of England
Salary is c £49,000 + £6k car allowance or car + 6% work related bonus
A Driving license and car will be essential for this role
This patch will include in Devon, Kent, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Suffolk and Worcestershire
You will manage your own diary with an expectation to be visiting sites 3 days a week
Job purpose
You will provide advice and guidance on a range of employee relations matters including performance, conduct, engagement and compliance. Working with the People Business Partner to ensure that change initiatives align to the legal framework of people management and are implemented following legal requirements and best practice approaches.

Experience needed
Appropriate and proven Employee Relations case work management experience, including but not limited to disciplinary processes, grievance, absence management and claims of harassment and bullying and Demonstrable experience in analysing and risk-managing cases, delivering appropriate solutions are essential for this role.
To be successful in this position you will need a keen eye for detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong understanding of employment law and HR practices.
Staying updated on developments in employment legislation, case law, and best practices in the UK is essential in this role.
