Matchtech is supporting the recruitment of x2 Senior Schedulers to work with a key client on high-profile railway projects in Toronto.

This role requires full relocation to Toronto, Canada for successful candidates.

Main Duties:

This role reports to the Head of Planning. The key responsibilities include:

1. Leading the development and implementation of the project's planning and construction strategies across the corridor.
2. Collaborating with project teams and external stakeholders to optimize construction sequencing, logistics, and resource allocation.
3. Conducting feasibility studies and impact assessments to ensure effective planning and staging of construction activities.
4. Coordinating with various teams to develop construction schedules, phasing plans, and mitigation measures.
5. Planning of engineering trains, access, and possessions; reducing possession-related costs and increasing the efficiency of engineering access.
6. Attending planning meetings to ensure effective planning, safety, and maximum performance of engineering possessions.
7. Chairing Integration, Deconfliction, and Readiness meetings for engineering possessions.
8. Monitoring and updating the project's planning and staging activities based on changing requirements and constraints.

Profile/Skills:

• Minimum seven (7) years of experience in construction planning and staging for large infrastructure projects, preferably in the railway industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, logistics planning, and resource management.
• Familiarity with construction methodologies, safety regulations, and environmental considerations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
