Job description

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated person to join the administration team and provide a highly professional service to our university. The post holder will play a key front-line role in our administration team, supporting the Research Institute staff, and acting as an interface with External Relations, Communications, and Marketing. We welcome experienced candidates with recent achievements in administrative roles, particularly those with knowledge of organising and supporting events, website administration, and professional social media experience. The ideal candidate should be keen to develop their skills within a university setting. This post is based at City St George’s, University of London – Tooting Campus, and is 35 hours per week.

Key Attributes of the Successful Applicant Include:

  • Experience in organising and administering events and meetings
  • Experience in designing and producing newsletters and promotional materials
  • Experience with website editing
  • Confident and competent use of professional social media across all platforms
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • A successful track record in a busy administrative environment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, even under pressure
  • Enthusiasm, initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently
