Job Title: Energy Analyst

Here at ISS, as a leading Facilities Management (FM) organisation, we are looking to recruit an Energy Analyst to join our central "Energy Bureau" located in the Stoke Office. You will work within a team of 6, collaborating with a major banking customer to manage data related to their energy consumption across their UK estate.

This data encompasses all utilities—water, gas, electricity, etc.—used within their office and corporate portfolio. You will play a key role in validating this data, performing analytical, financial, and administrative tasks to ensure data accuracy and correct payment of utility invoices.

You will also collaborate with engineers, energy managers, and senior leaders to inform them about energy usage, aiding in making informed decisions regarding the management of the client's estate.

This role is ideal for an analytically minded professional interested in developing within the energy/utilities sector and growing their commercial awareness for a successful career in energy management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Query resolution and management
2. Validating and processing invoices, meter readings, and energy data
3. Analyzing consumption trends, spikes, and missing data
4. Updating and cleansing data within the energy system
5. Providing payment details to energy suppliers
6. Creating payment files and financial reports
7. Generating accurate, timely reports in line with contract deadlines
8. Maintaining and updating baselines and accruals to reflect portfolio changes
9. Processing property change notifications with energy suppliers
10. Liaising professionally with internal and external clients, including broker partners
11. Providing updates to the Energy Bureau Lead
12. Supporting the team during busy periods
13. Attending client meetings as required

Qualifications and Skills Needed:

• Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness; experience in invoice validation is a plus
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technical terminology related to utilities
