  2. Act as a strategic Learning Partner to the Operations ELT area, engaging senior operational leaders to understand business needs and co-create impactful learning solutions.
  3. Lead annual planning and prioritization of L&D initiatives across the Skill Family, ensuring alignment with operational transformation agendas and global business priorities.
  4. Own and evolve the Skill Family’s taxonomy and curriculum, with a focus on driving business impact in operational contexts (e.g., manufacturing, supply chain, engineering).
  5. Partner with LEGO U Programme team and other L&D teams to deliver learning solutions through agile planning cycles, ensuring quality, relevance, and effectiveness.
  6. Shape and deliver engagement and communication strategies for the ELT area, ensuring visibility of learning impact and fostering a strong learning culture across Operations.
  7. Provide thought leadership in skills-based learning and embed a skills-first mindset in key operational areas.
  8. Build trusted relationships with senior operational stakeholders and cross-functional partners to ensure high relevance and uptake of learning interventions.
  9. Lead a team.

We partner with business leaders to identify critical capabilities and ensure all colleagues have access to the skills they need to grow, adapt, and succeed.

As Head of Skill Family Build & Sustainability, you will play a central role in enabling the skills agenda across our global Operations teams — from manufacturing and supply chain to engineering and sustainability. You’ll shape how we build and scale learning interventions that drive performance, support transformation, and realize our sustainability ambitions.

Do you have what it takes?

  2. Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align learning strategy to enterprise goals.
  3. Deep understanding of skills-based organizations and experience developing skills taxonomies.
  4. Proven ability to influence and consult senior leaders (L2/L3), acting as a trusted advisor.
  5. Experience working in or closely with Operations (e.g., manufacturing, supply chain, logistics), with strong contextual understanding of operational environments.
  6. Familiarity with agile ways of working and iterative planning.
  7. Data-driven decision-maker with strong analytical capabilities.
  8. Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  9. Prior experience in a large global organization with matrixed stakeholder groups is desirable.
  10. Experience working in sustainability or operations-related learning domains is preferred.
  11. Strong change leadership and resilience in dynamic environments.
  12. Background in partnering with external learning vendors and platforms is desirable.
