We are looking to appoint 3 Project Supervisors.

We are currently recruiting for projects running from our office in Portslade, Brighton, including a significant opportunity to work on the long-term excavation of an extensive Roman settlement site in West Sussex. We seek experienced field Project Supervisors capable of handling additional responsibilities, working independently, and supervising small to medium projects and teams as needed. You should be able to excavate and record to a high standard and may already have some supervisory experience. This role also involves writing reports on your projects, with support from our dedicated PX team to help you gain experience and confidence. While most work is local, staff may be required to undertake stay-away assignments.

About you

You must currently be employed by UCL, either as an employee or agency worker, with at least 12 weeks of continuous service.

Ideally, you will have at least 18 months of experience in UK commercial archaeology and hold a degree in archaeology or a related discipline. A driving license and willingness to drive for work are essential.

Please provide a clear statement addressing each of the selection criteria, demonstrating how your qualifications, experience, and training meet each requirement.
