Binnies, part of the RSK Group, is seeking an experienced and competent Safety & Risk Consultant to work within the Southwest of England. As a key member of our Safety & Risk Team, you will have the opportunity to support a valued and longstanding client in delivering diverse flood and coastal projects. You will serve as the technical lead for the region and oversee a team responsible for duties such as principal designer and CDM advisor across various schemes.

About the Role

• Manage a team of Safety & Risk Consultants across the Southwest region.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders within the client organization, including Project Managers, and work closely with their Health, Safety & Wellbeing Team and external partners.
• Contribute to projects from feasibility studies through design and construction phases.
• Ensure designs consider buildability, sustainability, environmental, and health & safety requirements.
• Chartered Safety Professional qualification.
• Knowledge of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Proactive with an innovative mindset.
• Willingness to work away from the office for short periods.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintaining accurate records.
