Chef for Professional Cookery Lecturer – Hayes - Permanent Contract
At Clarus Education, we are working with an FE College seeking to appoint a Chef for Professional Cookery Lecturer based in Hayes.
We are looking for a full-time Lecturer to join the Cookery & Hospitality team in Hayes. You will teach various Hospitality programmes, including VRQs/NVQs in Professional Cookery from Level 1 to Level 3, and Apprenticeship Standards – Level 2 Production Chef, Level 2 Commis Chef, and Level 3 Chef De Partie. The section features a restaurant (Revisco) open to the public.
The ideal candidate will be qualified to Level 3 in Catering/Cookery, with industry experience and teaching experience in the subject area. You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire young learners aged 16-18. Candidates either possess or are willing to obtain a Level 5 teaching qualification, which the College will support financially over two years.
