Summary

Reporting to the Development Manager, the Senior Developer will play a vital role in the success of the engineering, integration, and assurance pillar. The Senior Developer supports and delivers solutions aligned with standards and best practices. At Waystone, you will join a team developing cloud applications using the latest technologies, supporting a portfolio of products. You will have opportunities to design new solutions, utilizing a spectrum of low code and full code systems, collaborating with team members from design through to delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Work across multiple workstreams in multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality products and changes.
2. Participate in designing new solutions and developing them to completion in accordance with standards.
3. Contribute ideas and influence system improvements while championing standards and practices.
4. Support team members in their tasks.

Experience

• Proven experience in delivering software solutions.
• Extensive experience in .NET (C#) development.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure.
• Experience working in microservice/distributed environments.
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub.
• Experience with ALM tools and activities, including CI/CD, TeamCity, GitHub Actions.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Additional skills include:

• SQL (Microsoft, Oracle)

Education

Degree in a computer-related subject, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
