Job description

A school that we are working with are looking for an enthusiastic Psychology Teacher to join our team in Milton Keynes, providing cover for a maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Psychology Teacher to inspire and challenge students at Key Stage 4 and 5, guiding them through a fascinating and rewarding subject.

As a Psychology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering an engaging curriculum that covers a range of psychological theories, methods, and applications. You will play a key role in helping students develop their analytical thinking and research skills while preparing them for exams and future academic pursuits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Psychology to students in Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons.
  • Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
  • Collaborate with the department to enhance the curriculum and contribute to the development of best practices.
  • Support students with academic and pastoral guidance, helping them reach their full potential.

Requirements for the Role:

  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • UK teaching experience in Psychology or a closely related field.
  • ECTs are welcome to apply.
