Role Overview

As a Junior Customer Projects Engineer at Fortress Safety, you will have a great development opportunity to utilize your knowledge and gain broad experience within a successful manufacturing company. Key Responsibilities

1. Create bespoke product designs and configurations for Fortress’ customers, including dimensional product drawings and wiring diagrams for installation and use.
2. Develop wiring diagrams and assembly instructions for the manufacturing team.
3. Assist in small product design and development projects, supporting NPD and Manufacturing Engineering teams.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree or similar qualification in Mechanical Design Engineering or a comparable subject.
• Experience with 3D CAD software such as CREO and Windchill (other similar software considered).
• Ability to accurately read, layout, and create 2D engineering drawings.
• Understanding of geometric tolerances and engineering principles.
• Experience or understanding of ERP software (Microsoft Navision preferred).
• Basic understanding of Electronics and Mechatronic principles for creating wiring diagrams and drawings.
• Hands-on experience with product testing.
