The primary focus will be within the wide-body manufacturing engineering area. Main activities will include:

  • Working with manufacturing project leaders & project organization on a day-to-day basis.
  • Raising understanding and acceptance of best practice project management within the ME teams by coaching and providing awareness sessions, challenging project leaders where necessary.
  • Shaping methods and tools in accordance with PM standards to meet project needs.
  • Supporting efficient communication and stakeholder management, ensuring activities are aligned with interfacing projects and operations.
  • Promoting Agile Ways of Working (WoW) and acting as Scrum Master for project activities where applicable.
  • Establishing end-to-end (E2E) project plans and controlling all changes versus the initial baseline. Identifying associated Earned Value Management (EVM) milestones and project critical points.
  • Tracking performance versus plan throughout the project lifecycle. Analyzing project information to anticipate deviations from targets and proposing preventive or corrective actions. Providing clear and regular reporting throughout all project phases.
  • Driving the Risk & Opportunity Management process in line with existing R&O procedures. Owning the associated R&O register and regularly updating the Project Leader.
  • Working jointly with Finance to compare costs incurred and time spent for progress achieved against current planning.
  • Preparing and publishing reports as required. Defining and delivering relevant KPIs & dashboards for effective performance monitoring. Contributing to all team reviews and preparing/supporting project management reviews (PRMs, operational meetings, etc.).
