Role summary

The Cloud Monitoring & Compliance Engineer ensures security and compliance across KPMG's cloud environments, supporting GSOC tools on Windows, Azure, and O365. Responsibilities include:

• Analyzing security alerts and requests
• Customizing Cloud Security Posture Management and Microsoft Defender features
• Onboarding cloud tenants and providers
• Implementing automated remediation
• Vendor liaison and tool management
• Collaborating with teams to meet compliance standards
• Recording tasks using DevOps

Key Accountabilities

• Analyze security alerts
• Enhance CSPM and CWP features
• Automate remediation activities
• Onboard new tenants
• Manage and troubleshoot tools

Experience / Qualifications

• IT experience with major cloud providers
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Knowledge of Cloud Security Posture Management tools
• Experience securing cloud environments and compliance
• Understanding of API security standards
