Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Estates Manager to join our clients team in Newcastle. This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the management and operation of the companies estate portfolio, ensuring optimal performance, tenant satisfaction, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the management of the estate portfolio, including maintenance, security, and health & safety compliance.
Develop and implement strategies for the efficient operation of properties, aiming for cost reduction and value enhancement.
Liaise with tenants, handling enquiries and resolving issues promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Oversee lease management activities, including negotiations, renewals, and terminations.
Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers, ensuring quality services are delivered on time and within budget.
Prepare and manage the annual budget for estate operations, monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure properties are maintained to the highest standards.
Keep abreast of market trends and legislative changes that could impact the portfolio.Requirements:

Proven experience in estate or property management, ideally within a multi-site portfolio.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct staff.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with tenants, contractors, and team members.
Knowledge of property law, health & safety regulations, and best practices in property management.
Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and cost management.
A degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Business Administration, or related field is desirable.
Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) would be advantageous.What We Offer:
