WHAT TO EXPECT

We are delighted to offer this opportunity to join the Manufacturing team at Special Vehicle Operations. You will be working as part of a manufacturing team within the Paint Rectification process, ensuring the highest quality vehicles are delivered to our customers.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies for your area of responsibility and prioritize safety within the workgroup.
• Work as part of a team to identify and eliminate safety hazards, raising concerns about potential hazards, near misses, dangerous occurrences, and accidents.
• Protect internal and external customers by addressing issues, implementing fixes, and preventing recurrence, engaging the broader team as appropriate.
• Rectify paintless repairs and prevent vehicles from being diverted into on-wheel repair processes.
• Work under limited supervision in non-routine situations.
• Continuously improve workplace organisation in line with the 5S standard.

WHAT YOU NEED

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a paint-related subject.
• Experience working with multiple paint finishes (Gloss, Satin, and Matte).
• Ability to carry out paintless dent repairs.
• Flexibility: prepared to work anywhere on the plant, including different shifts and technology areas.
• Experience in paintless dent removal/repair.
• Experience in polish rectification.
