About

CK Group is recruiting for a Shift QC Technician to join a multinational manufacturer of coatings and sealants at their site located in Shildon, County Durham, on a 3-month contract.

Location

This role is based in Shildon, County Durham.

QC Technician Role

The successful QC Technician will ensure that the quality of the manufactured products and their accompanying documentation meet industry and customer requirements.

You Will Be Responsible For

1. Laboratory testing of paints and sealants to identify issues.
2. Developing new formulations for specific customers.
3. Supporting and investigating customer complaints.
4. Liaising with other teams to ensure the product is fit for purpose.

Your Background

To be considered for this position, you will have:

• A qualification in a Chemistry-related subject.
• Experience working in a laboratory environment (academic or industrial).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
