Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Programming & planning offsite and onsite works.
2. Purchasing, hiring, and allocation of site equipment, plant, and labour.
3. Procurement and management of sub-contract trades.
4. Producing lift plans for cranes (ideally holding a CPCS Appointed Person Blue Card).
5. Producing method statements.
6. Liaising with all internal departments (Drawing Office, Design, Production, Site, Accounts).
7. Liaising with customers and design teams (Main Contractors, Engineers, Architects, Sub-Contractors).
8. Reviewing sub-contracts (NEC3/4, JCT), including contract terms, scope, and programme.
9. Tracking contract changes, identifying risks and opportunities, and mitigating or realizing each.
10. Producing monthly applications and pricing changes.
11. Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress.
12. Ensuring profitability, quality, safety, and adherence to programme for each project.
13. Attending pre-let, pre-start, and progress meetings.
