Job Description:

Position Overview

Apollo is seeking an individual to join its expanding Product Development & Innovation team (PDI) to help drive the development of new products and distribution channels for global wealth clients. The primary goal of PDI is to help strategically grow Apollo’s product offerings and distribution channels (e.g., Private Wealth, Direct-to-Consumer etc.). Falling within Apollo’s capital raising unit (Client & Product Solutions), this team is fundamental to the future growth of Apollo’s fundraising endeavors.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the growth of Apollo’s Global Wealth Management Solutions (GWMS) platform with a focus on the full private market product suite
  • Drive strategic AUM growth
  • Deliver content and messaging tailored to the GWMS investor base
  • Partner with Product Management to ensure consistency and relevance of information shared internally and externally
  • Actively engage with GWMS sales teams to support all aspects of capital raising
  • Understand and analyze market dynamics and innovate with respect to driving business development
  • Provide intelligence on investor sentiment and competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to support strategy for new product launches in the region
  • Build relationships and gain a thorough understanding of investors’ internal approval processes and how new products fit into their overall portfolios

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3.5+ years of industry experience with both investment and client-facing experience desirable
  • Understanding of alternative asset management, global, diversified firm operations, and product distribution / fundraising
  • Experience in business development, strategy, research, and synthesis of research findings
  • Strong multi-tasking and pivoting abilities between research, analysis, and written communication
  • Self-starter with strategic, independent, and outside-the-box thinking to generate growth opportunities
  • Additional European languages preferred, especially German and/or Italian
  • Strong analytical capabilities supporting strategic discussions on corporate finance and alternatives products
  • Outstanding written and oral presentation skills
