Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Multi-Asset Portfolio Manager with a strong hedge fund background to join our investment team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of hedge fund experience, preferably with exposure to private asset allocation. This role requires a deep understanding of macroeconomic trends, portfolio construction, and risk management across multiple asset classes. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing investment strategies that align with the family office’s financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Management: Oversee and optimize a diversified portfolio spanning public equities, private equity, fixed income, and real estate.
  • Investment Strategy: Develop and implement sophisticated, data-driven investment strategies tailored to the family’s risk appetite and long-term goals.
  • Market & Risk Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on macroeconomic conditions, market trends, and sectoral opportunities to identify high-conviction investment opportunities.
  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously assess portfolio performance, conduct stress testing, and adjust asset allocations as needed.
  • Due Diligence: Lead comprehensive due diligence on prospective investments, working closely with internal analysts and external partners.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare high-quality investment reports, risk assessments, and presentations for the family office.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with external fund managers, advisors, and investment committees to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed on regulatory developments and ensure all investment activities comply with relevant financial laws and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Hedge Fund Expertise: Minimum of five years of experience in a hedge fund environment, with a proven track record in multi-asset investing.
  • Private Asset Allocation: Strong preference for candidates with experience in private equity, venture capital, or alternative investments.
  • Technical & Analytical Skills: Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and financial modeling abilities.
  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of global markets, investment instruments, and risk management frameworks.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated success in generating alpha and managing multi-asset portfolios.
  • Communication & Leadership: Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex investment ideas clearly to stakeholders.
  • Education: Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • Certifications: CFA, CAIA preferred, or similar credentials is a plus.
