Job Summary:

As the Legal & Contracts (L&C) Officer, you'll work closely with the CFO or another designated person to help our company navigate and manage commercial risks through our contracts. You'll provide clear and timely legal guidance and advice to our sales, projects, and functional managers, and handle agreements with our service suppliers. You'll also ensure we stay compliant with national laws and Leonardo directives, keeping an eye out for any changes so we can update our policies and procedures as needed. This role reports directly to the Head of L&C, and you'll be joining a small, friendly, and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Legal and Contractual Expertise: Provide legal advice and manage contracts.
2. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate contractual risks.
3. Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal requirements and directives.
4. Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and resolve disputes.
5. Partnerships: Structure and manage collaborations.
6. Proposal Development: Handle terms for new business proposals.
7. Records Management: Maintain contract records.
8. Collaboration: Work with Telespazio colleagues for consistency.
9. Meeting Participation: Attend key business meetings.
10. Relationship Management: Maintain client and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

1. Experience: 6+ years in commercial legal and contracts departments.
2. Education: Legal degree or equivalent practical experience.
3. Leadership: Strong relationship builder and communicator with team leadership experience.
4. Independence: Ability to work independently and manage change effectively.
5. Communication: Excellent interpersonal, communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
6. Integrity: Proven integrity and ability to handle pressure.
7. Trust: Ability to earn respect and trust from staff and external stakeholders.
